This Technical Information bulletin is issued to share the peculiarities of the Black Comet color
and avoid potential reports of unjustified non-compliance of the paintwork.
MODEL: M189 New Granturismo All MY
The paint “Nero Cometa “, developed for new Maserati Granturismo is a particular triple-layer
matte finish (specific primer, comet black matte base, glossy clearcoat, textured clearcoat)
applied to the car using specific airbrushes and highly specific manual application.
The paint generated features on the car creates a finely textured skin effect with iridescent
reflections that "light up" at different angles when exposed to sunlight.
The texture, produced by the last layer of textured transparent, also adds to the uniqueness of
the color and tactile sensation that every owner of a GT will be able to appreciate by touching
the car.
