Added back the photo showing the Category (“Special”) in the dropdown for Front and Rear
Seat Covers and Front and Rear Seat Back Covers and the photo requirement for the
Windshield showing the Mopar Trademark information that were previously removed in error.
PURPOSE:
To announce that 23-85 Sheet Metal Rust/Corrosion LOPs have been removed from the
Vehicle Digital Imaging (VDI) Pre-Authorization program to collect, monitor and correct quality
issues in a timely and efficient manner. This now removes ALL Paint LOPs from VDI Pre-
Authorization.
TIMING:
Effective with vehicles received for repair on or after December 6, 2023 - Until Further Notice
ACTION:
The following repairs (labor operations) will no longer require pre-authorization through the
VDI Pre-Authorization Program:
¢ Sheet Metal (23-85-xx-xx)
Any claims submitted with 23-85 LOPs will reject for Message Code (RP1 - This LOP must be
authorized) and will require dealers to attach supporting photos to the claim for payment.
Note: Photos MUST include the VIN and MUST clearly capture the corrosion to support the
repairs.

e Wheels (22-40-01-xx / 23-99-22-xx)
¢ Hard Tops (LOPs 23-05-02-03 / 23-05-02-05)

Guidelines section and review Vehicle Digital Imaging Pre-Authorization Program (Non-
Powertrain). NOTE: PA Authorizations are only valid for 90 days, after which time the
authorization expires.
Please ensure all affected dealership personnel are aware of this bulletin.
