SERVICE:
When replacing a cell module on a Standard Range PHEV the BECM must contain the latest
software version before beginning the repairs. This is important for using the VIDA method
described below. Updated BECM software was released in 2023 week 36 (version 2.11).
To successfully replace a cell module please follow the instructions in VIDA. VIDA will guide you
on what target voltage you should charge the new module to and also to reset the cell capacity for
the module that is being replaced (Components / ECUs / BECM / Diagnostic Sequences / Getting
Target Voltage for New Module at Replacement).

*To get a warranty claim accepted for a job described in this TJ, if the software needs to be updated
use the corresponding VST OP number stated in this TJ.
Note that the TJ number must be stated in the repair order text.
