Summary
This PI states that a vehicle may exhibit a concern of the cross traffic alert indicators not displaying on the radio screen. While this is a customer dissatisfier, it does not pose a safety concern due to the fact that the customer will still be alerted to an approaching vehicle by the seat vibration. Dealers are advised that engineering is working on a resolution and it will be available by the end of 2023.?

Rear cross tra c alert indicators are not displayed on radio screen.
It will be found that the haptic seats will vibrate but the indicator showing which side the object is coming from will not be
displayed.
Cause
Software
Correction:
Engineering is working on a resolution to this concern.
Please advise the customer that a repair will be available sometime before the end of June 2024.
The vehicle will still alert the customer through a vibration of the seat that a vehicle is approaching, therefore the vehicle is safe to drive.
