Purpose for Service Bulletin

Affected Part Numbers

This bulletin informs dealers that an improved Variable Valve
Timing (VVT) harness connector and terminals are going to be
used on 2024 Revolution® Max powered vehicles. The old
connector and terminals used on 2021-2023 Revolution® Max
powered vehicles will no longer be supported. Various kits have
been created to support dealers in the change over of these
parts.

Refer to Table 2., Table 3 and Table 4.

All markets affected.

NOTE
Refer to Table 2. When replacing the engine harness on a
vehicle with the older style VVT connectors, order the
corresponding install kit to convert the current 2021-2023 engine
to the updated 2024 engine harness connectors.

When replacing engine assembly complete powertrain:
• Order appropriate engine assembly complete powertrain
part number.
• Install engine harness connector kit (Part No. 25701669)
supplied with powertrain.

Required Dealer Action
To determine if a 2021-2023 Revolution® Max vehicle needs
to be updated with the VVT Service Kit while performing a
qualifying repair, identify what VVT connector is present on the
engine harness:
• If it has one black 4 pin connector (Part No. 69203272), it
has been updated.
• If it has two separate 2 pin connectors, one white (PN
69202627) and one black, (Part No. 69202037), it needs to
be updated when performing qualifying repairs.
