Summary
The Zamp solar panel 2 port combiner box is insufficiently sealed to the roof of the motorhome for water intrusion. Install a circle of butyl around the hole in the roof and small pieces over each screw hole for sealing the box to the roof.

for water intrusion.
Correction:
To correct this situation, follow SOP12504 to seal the access point in the
roof,
Labour to perform this Campaign Update: 0.5 hr / unit

Motorhomes
The Zamp solar panel 2 port combiner box is insufficiently sealed to the roof
for water intrusion.
Correction:
To correct this situation, follow SOP12504 to seal the access point in the
roof. If you choose to have your selling dealer or a RV service center
perform the campaign it will be performed at no charge to you. The time
needed to perform is approximately 30 minutes. If you choose to have this
campaign performed by a service center other than your dealer, prior
authorization is required. When completed or if you have any questions
contact Leisure Travel Vans at [email protected]

Tools Required: Press the release
tab and pull each
connector out of
the box.
Locate the Zamp Solar
Panel Wiring Combiner
box on the roof of the
coach.
Ladder long enough to safely get on the roof (if not equipped)
#2 Robertson (Square) screw driver
#2 Phillips (Star) screw driver
Stiff Metal Putty knife
Caulking gun
Dicor Sealant (129-3129)
3/6" x 3/4" Butyl tape (129-0159)
Disposable gloves
Remove the 4 PI
screws from the lid of the
box.
Use the #2 Robertson
(square) screw driver to
remove the six screws
holding the box to the
roof.
Use the metal putty
knife to remove the
Dicor and pry the
box from the roof.
Place a circle of
butyl tape around
the hole in the
roof and a small
amount over
each screw hole.
Reinstall the screws
by hand (no power
tools) and snug
screws So box is
securely mounted.
Screw box lid back in place and reconnect the solar panel wire plugs.
