The 2024 Blazer EV sets a new tone for electric SUVs,
with options and intuitive technologies that help
position Chevrolet for leadership in one of the
fastest-growing EV segments. It is based on GM’s
innovative Ultium Platform, with athletic styling that
elevates the heralded design established in 2018 by
the gas-powered Blazer and performance cues inspired
by the Camaro and Corvette.
Additional Blazer EV highlights include:
• Full LED exterior lighting, with animated
choreography on RS and SS models
• A beautiful, spacious and sustainably crafted
cabin that incorporates soft-touch materials and a
17.7-inch diagonal customizable infotainment
display
• Advanced driver assistance technologies, such as
standard Reverse Automatic Braking, that are
intended to inspire confidence

The Blazer EV’s innovative, dynamic and athletic
styling is infused with Chevrolet’s performance DNA to
create an expressive design unlike anything else in the
segment.
Blazer EV is offered in three models — LT, RS and SS
— that share a muscular, athletic profile enabled by the
Ultium Platform. Taut, converging body lines convey
motion and prominent front-fender extractor vents are a
nod to Chevy’s motorsports legacy. However, the
models each take on their own distinct character.
The LT features a monochromatic appearance and
standard 19-inch wheels, while the RS strikes a sportier
presence with a Black grille, Gloss Black accents and
standard 21-inch wheels. The SS serves up the most
aggressive aesthetic, with a unique front grille,
standard 22-inch wheels, a two-tone color scheme
featuring a Black roof and A-pillars, and more.

Designers elevated the Blazer EV’s presence further on
the RS and SS with a bold, dual-element LED exterior
lighting signature, which has choreographed lighting
sequences that activate when the driver approaches or
walks away. The effect features a full light bar and
illuminated Bowtie emblem on the front. These
elements are incorporated into the lighting sequences.
Lighting cues at the front and rear of the vehicle will
also pulse during charging, giving customers an
at-a-glance indication of how much energy is stored
within Blazer EV’s battery. Tracer animations play until
the charging is complete, remaining solid for every
10-percent increment of charge the battery has stored
within.
Inside, a refined cabin makes a modern design
statement. Like the exterior, many of its elements draw
inspiration from Chevrolet’s sports cars and
performance heritage, such as a flat-bottom steering
wheel for the RS and SS trims and sculpted vents
inspired by turbines.
An expansive, 17.7-inch diagonal color display is the
focal point of the cabin and the command center for the
vehicle’s infotainment system and additional features.

A large, 11-inch diagonal color Driver Information
Center in the instrument cluster complements the
center touchscreen.

Technology
The Blazer EV offers Chevrolet’s latest charging,
infotainment and driver assistance technologies. These
features work together to offer customers greater
convenience, comfort and confidence when it comes to
making the transition to an all-electric vehicle.
It all starts when the driver enters the Blazer EV —
there’s no button to push to start the vehicle. With
hands-free start, they simply close the door, press the
brake pedal, put the vehicle into Drive or Reverse, and
their Blazer EV is ready to go. The key fob authorizes
the hands-free start system.
Other technology highlights include:
• Automated charge port door: Charging Blazer EV
begins with a gentle press of the charge port door,
which automatically opens to reveal a welcoming
halo of light around the charge ports
• myChevrolet Mobile App: Together with the
infotainment system and in-vehicle apps, the
myChevrolet Mobile App will give Blazer EV
customers seamless control over important
vehicle features — anytime, anywhere. It can help
them map their route based on their vehicle’s
available range and chosen Points of Interest.
• Regen On Demand: This driver-controlled feature
converts some of the kinetic energy of the
vehicle’s forward momentum into electricity and
transfers it back to the battery for future use. It can
be used in tandem with One-Pedal Driving for
maximum energy recovery
• Available presence-based power liftgate: For
convenience, the tailgate can open hands-free
when the key fob is recognized by the sensors at
the rear of the vehicle
• Available Super Cruise (Late availability) : The
industry’s first truly hands-free driver assistance
technology, Super Cruise is available on 400,000
miles (over 640,000 km) of compatible roads in
the United States and Canada
The Blazer EV also offers Chevrolet’s latest driver
assistance technologies, including standard Reverse
Automatic Braking and available Enhanced Automatic
Parking Assist. They complement the standard Chevy
Safety Assist suite of technologies, which includes
Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert,
Front Pedestrian Braking, Following Distance Indicator,
Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and
IntelliBeam automatic high beam control.
A major enabler of the Blazer EV’s technologies is Ultifi,
GM’s new end-to-end vehicle software platform. It
separates the vehicle’s software from the hardware to
enable the frequent and seamless delivery of
software-defined features, apps and services to
customers over the air.

Blazer EV PPV

The Blazer EV channels the power of the Ultium
Platform, which is the foundation of GM’s EV strategy
and the driver of the company’s vision for a
zero-emissions future. The all-new body architecture
supports the multiple range options and the three
available drive systems: , e -all-wheel drive and
rear-wheel drive and Performance AWD
The SS takes all the Blazer EV’s performance
capabilities to their zenith, with unique features
designed to help maximize the Ultium Platform’s
capabilities.
When it comes to charging performance, the Blazer EV
delivers with an 11.5-kW onboard AC charging module
for home and public charging, along with high-speed
DC fast charging capability of up to 190 kW.
Owners also have access to Ultium Charge 360, GM’s
holistic approach to EV charging that is designed to
simplify the overall charging experience. It offers
access to more than 110,000 publicly available
charging points in the Unites States and Canada.

In addition to the “civilian” models of the new Blazer EV,
Chevrolet will offer a specially developed PPV model. It
is the first pursuit-rated, all-electric Chevrolet in more
than 60 years of tailoring vehicles for the rigors of law
enforcement duty.
Blazer EV PPV will be based off the Blazer EV SS retail
model. It will be offered with specific police content,
including skid plates, police-rated tires, steel wheels
and additional emergency equipment support. The
vehicle will also have light-duty towing capability for
items like radar trailers and can haul bicycle racks
when equipped with a dealer-installed Class 1 trailer
hitch.

Charging Blazer EV begins with a gentle press of the
charge port door, which automatically opens to reveal a
welcoming halo of light around the charge ports. This
will ensure seamless use during low- light charging
scenarios. If the customer does not close the door
when charging is complete, it will automatically close
itself when the vehicle is placed in gear.

Blazer EV will offer a dual-pane power panoramic
sunroof that gives the vehicle an open-air feel. A panel
stretches the length of the front and back row, so
everyone has a view of the sky above. However, only
the front panel retracts or vents. The rear is a fixed
glass panel. A powered sunshade easily opens or
closes, when needed, to help block light and keep the
cabin cool.
