Suspension Bolt Contacting Gray Tank Inspection




Before completing the repair instructions below, verify the passenger rear suspension bolt is making
contact with the gray tank.
If the rear suspension bolt is making contact (Figure 1), proceed to the repair instructions to cut off the end
of the bolt. Note: If the tank is damaged to point of leaking, contact Jayco Service.
If the rear suspension bolt is NOT making contact (Figure 2), no further is action is required and submit the
claim for the inspection time.

1. Using a reciprocating saw, cut the end of the suspension bolt off to create clearance between the tank and
the end of the bolt. (Red line in Figure 3)
a. NOTE: The bolt should be cut with approximately 3-5 bolt threads exposed from the nut.
