Resolution

If the unit serial number is listed in Table 1, email AJ206@cummins.com to have a DEF level
gauge and hour meter kit sent to repair location.

In the email request include the following.

¢ Customer name

¢ Shipping address

¢ Generator set serial number(s)

¢ Include this TSB number and title

Service Instructions
Note: A copy of kit instructions are included in the kit.
1. Kit installation for C100D2RE generator sets.

1 a. Remove the 3 bolts and open the control panel.

1 b. Remove plastic caps before installing hour meter and DEF level gauge.
1c. Install the DEF level gauge into the panel. Hand tighten the retaining ring.

1 d. Install the hour meter into the panel. Torque nuts to 1.5N-m (13.2 In-lbs).

1 e. Remove cable tie securing P154A connector to main wiring harness above gauge cluster and
connect to DEF level gauge at location ‘A’ (red box in Figure 3).

1 f. Using supplied jumper harness, connect DEF gauge location ‘B’ (blue box in Figure 3) to hour
meter. Secure jumper to main harness with cable tie (green box in Figure 3).

1 g. Close control panel and reinstall the 3 bolts. Torque to 10.9N-m (8 ft-lbs).

1h. End of installation.

2. Kit installation for C200D2RE/C275D2RE generator sets.

2 a. Remove the 2 bolts and open the control panel.

2 b. Remove plastic caps before installing hour meter and DEF level gauge.

2c. Install the DEF level gauge into the panel (location 1). Hand tighten the retaining ring.
2 d. Install the hour meter into the panel (location 2). Torque nuts to 1.5 N-m (13.2 In-Ibs).

2 e. Remove cable tie securing P154A connector to main wiring harness above gauge cluster and
connect to DEF level gauge at location ‘A’ (red box in Figure 6).

2 f. Using supplied jumper harness (blue line in Figure 6), connect DEF gauge location ‘B’ (blue
box in Figure 6) to hour meter. Secure jumper to main harness with cable tie.
