Some 2022 – 2024 model year NX 250, 2022 – 2023 model year NX 350, and 2022 model year
NX 350h and NX 450h+ vehicles may exhibit a MIL ON condition with one or both of the following
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present:
P2E0464 (SAE code P2E05) — Gear Lever Position Sensor “B” Signal Plausibility Failure.
P2E0064 (SAE code P2E01) — Gear Lever Position Sensor “A” Signal Plausibility Failure.
The transmission floor shift assembly logic has been modified to reduce the possibility of this
condition. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Confirm the condition exists.
Does the vehicle exhibit a MIL ON condition with one or both of the following DTCs?
P2E0464 (SAE code P2E05) — Gear Lever Position Sensor “B” Signal Plausibility Failure.
P2E0064 (SAE code P2E01) — Gear Lever Position Sensor “A” Signal Plausibility Failure.
YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Flash reprogram the transmission floor shift assembly.
NOTE
The battery diagnostic tool MUST be used in Power Supply mode to maintain battery voltage at
13.0 – 13.5V while flash reprogramming the vehicle.
For details on how to use the battery diagnostic tool, refer to the DCA-8000 Instruction Manual
located at TIS – Diagnostics – Tools & Equipment – Battery Diagnostics.
Follow the procedures outlined in L-SB-0036-22 GTS +Techstream ECU Flash
Reprogramming Procedure With Security Signature and flash the transmission floor shift
assembly with the NEW calibration file update.
