1) Referring to Figures 1 and 2 - Locate (J17) fuel pump relay
Hint: The photographs within this TPI are for guidance purposes only, always refer to Elsa Pro using the applicable VIN

Remove (J17) from the carrier

2) Referring to Figure 3 - Once removed conduct a visual check of all carrier terminals, check for the following:
•

Loose terminals within the carrier

•

Terminals which have spread (poor connection)

•

Terminals which are damaged (poor connection)

3) Take photographs of each terminal that requires repairing Note: Save the photographs of any issues found as these will be required later
within this process

4) Referring to Rep.Gr 97 - Wiring harness repairs - Renew the applicable terminals using the VAS 1978B wiring repair kit
5) Respond via an existing DISS query or raise a new DISS query ensuring photographs of the spread/damaged terminals are attached
