General Information
Effective January 1, 2023, all New Cascadia vehicles specified with a 4-4-4 aero bumper, and needing a
replacement part or parts, will be replaced by a 6-4-6 air dam kit (A21-29460-001). Figure 1 shows the 4-4-4 air
dam parts.

The 6-4-6 air dam kit contains the inner air dam (A21-29040-002), the left-hand side outer air dam (21-28988002), and the right-hand side outer air dam (21-28988-003). See Fig. 2 for the 6-4-6 air dam parts.

When the vehicle is equipped with a 4-4-4 aero bumper, purchase of individual replacement parts is not
possible. Once the 6-4-6 air dam is installed, if there is damage to any single part, only the damaged part can
be replaced.
If the wheel well close-outs are already installed on the vehicle, then those will need to be replaced with the
wheel well close-out left-hand side (22-74945-006) and wheel well close-out right-hand side (22-74945-007),
that mate properly with the new air dam. See Table 1 for air dam crossover parts list.
The 6-4-6 air dam provides better ground clearance that decreases the damage to the air dam and the bumper,
with limited aero penalty.
