TSB: Some 2022 ? 2023 model year NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h (with 9.8-inch touchscreen only) and 2023 model year ES 250, ES 300h, and ES 350 (with 8.0-inch touchscreen only) vehicles, equipped with a 10-speaker premium sound system, may exhibit an echo condition during a phone call via Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, or Android Auto? (wireless or wired). The person in the car does not hear or experience any echo or other abnormalities. The condition can be resolved by replacing the amplifier assembly.

Introduction
Some 2022 – 2023 model year NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h (with 9.8-inch touchscreen only) and
2023 model year ES 250, ES 300h, and ES 350 (with 8.0-inch touchscreen only) vehicles,
equipped with a 10-speaker premium sound system, may exhibit an echo condition during a phone
call via Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, or Android Auto™ (wireless or wired). The person in the car
does not hear or experience any echo or other abnormalities. The condition can be resolved by
replacing the amplifier assembly. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address
this condition.

1. During a phone call via Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, or Android Auto™ (wireless or wired),
does the caller outside the vehicle hear an echo?

YES — Continue to step 2.
•
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis using the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Disconnect the negative (–) battery terminal.
3. Remove the amplifier assembly.
