are writing to you today with some important information about the emergency braking

function of the electronic parking brake.

Enclosed you will find a supplement for your Touareg Owner’s Manual. Please take some

time to review the information carefully and keep it with your Owner’s Manual kit so that it

will be at hand whenever needed. Please also keep in mind that the information in the

supplement on the electronic parking brake and the emergency braking function

supersedes the information in the corresponding section of your Touareg Owner’s

Manual.

If you are the lessor and registered owner of the vehicle identified in this letter, please

insert to the new owner, if known. And, if you have changed your address or sold the

vehicle, please fill out the enclosed prepaid owner reply card and mail it to us so we can

update our records.
