Blue iQ™ FSCM Remote Calibration Update Procedure
DSM.0177 Ver. 1.0 July 19, 2023
Procedure for updating FSCM (Fuel System Control Module) programming used on all Blue iQ™ systems using
Cummins
® INSITE™ software and either a Cummins® INLINE™ or Nexiq® communication cable.
Special Tools
Programming / diagnostic computer with Cummins INSITE software
Cummins INLINE or NEXIQ diagnostic cable
NOTICE Connect an appropriate battery charger to the vehicle during programing or diagnostics; loss
of system power during programing may damage the FSCM.
Automatic Calibration Download
1. Connect diagnostic/programing cable from computer to vehicle diagnostic port.
2. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
3. Launch Cummins INSITE application.
4. Select “Connect to ECM”.
5. From the popup window select “Connect”. Note: No security type, ECM password, or other credentials
are required for the FSCM.
6. Select “Agility(R) Fuel Delivery System” module at address [18] and connect.
7. INSITE will automatically search for the latest calibration available. If a new calibration is found, select the
“Save” option when prompted and continue.

(Optional) Manual Calibration Search/Download
1. Connect diagnostic/programing cable from computer to vehicle diagnostic port.
2. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
3. Launch Cummins INSITE application.
4. Select “Calibration Selection” and click on “ECM/PDD Code Search” when prompted.
5. INSITE will automatically search for the latest calibration available. When prompted the Status will update to
indicate “Successfully found IV10003.XX” to indicate a new calibration has been found.

6. Select the “Save” option and exit the pop-up window.

Flashing a New Calibration File
1. Connect the diagnostic/programing cable from to the vehicle diagnostic port.
2. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
3. Launch Cummins INSITE application.
4. Click on “Calibration Selection” and select “ECM/PDD”.
5. Navigate to the “Agility(R) Fuel Delivery System” folder and select the latest file.
6. Navigate to the latest saved software and right click on the ECM Code to select “Transfer to ECM”.
7. After programing has finished, exit the software and turn ignition to OFF.
8. Wait 5 minutes before starting vehicle.
