(FLTRXSE) cooling system.

When servicing the new cooling system on the Milwaukee-Eight
121 Variable Valve Timing (VVT) powered vehicle, it is important
to understand how to check the coolant level, drain, fill and
bleed the system.
Failure to closely follow the vacuum bleed procedures, will
result in an incomplete system purging, potentially causing
engine overheating. Dealers must use the vacuum fill tool as
specified in the service manual (See the Supplemental
Procedure Video for more details. This video can only be viewed
electronically through SIP). If the vehicle sets any codes ( Refer
to Table 3. ) for an over temperature condition, the presence
of an air pocket requires the coolant system to be completely
drained and refilled. To refill the system, follow the vacuum
bleed procedure. Vacuum bleeding is only effective on a
completely empty coolant system.
