Follow the procedure below to capture and report vehicle mileage:
Note: The vehicle mileage may be displayed in kilometers.

1. Start the ODIS application, connect the diagnostic connector, and select Start Diagnosis.

2. Verify that the vehicle information is correct. Make corrections if necessary and select Apply.

3. Click Cancel.

6. If the module variant dialog is displayed, add information as necessary.
7. Wait for statistics data to complete as necessary. Select Complete/Continue.

8. After system test completes, right-click on 17 - Instrument cluster (or 17 - Dash Panel Insert) and
select Guided Functions.

11. Read the instructions if necessary and select Complete/Continue again.

12. Scroll down and select the value that represents vehicle mileage. This value will most likely be
ODOMETER/odometer, but may be referred to as Distance or Vehicle Distance Driven. Click OK.

13. Verify that ODOMETER/odometer is selected and click OK.

14. It may be necessary to click the right arrows to expand the MVB section. Use the Print Screen button
on the tester keyboard to copy the screen image to the system clipboard.

15. Go to Programs – Accessories and open Wordpad. Paste the screen image into Wordpad. Save
the document to the desktop. Close Wordpad.

16. After saving the file, click Complete/Continue.

24. Select Complete/Continue to send the diagnostic log.

25. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to send the diagnosis log.
26. After the diagnosis log is sent, select Save to save a copy of the diagnosis log to the tester.

28. Save the log to the same location as the screen print captured in Step 15.
