DESCRIPTION
On some vehicles, the front door glass run channel may interfere with the rear door garnish. Since the front door glass
run channel is not fixed strongly enough to the door, repetition of door operation may result in interference and damage
to the rear door rubber seal.

To eliminate this concern, the fixing force and durability of the glass run channel against thermal expansion and vibration
has been improved. The shapes of the front and rear glass run channels and the rear garnish lip have been changed to
prevent interference.
Customers experiencing this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Replace the front and rear door glass run channels and rear garnish with modified parts according to the instructions
on MGSS online: (FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN-CHANNEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION), (REAR DOOR GLASS RUNCHANNEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
NOTE:
• Replace the opposite side too, even if there is no damage.
• For this repair, the beltline molding does not need to be removed/replaced, even though the workshop manual

3. Verify the repair.
