This is to revise and replace TRP 2595-A, dated 28-Feb-2023. This revision is to:

1. Update the Reimbursements, and
2. update the Parts list.

Description
This Temporary Repair Practice is being issued to address Engine Outlet NOx Sensor failures on certain ISX15 CM2350 X101
engines. This TRP authorizes certified repair locations to replace the Engine Outlet NOx Sensor if fault codes or troubleshooting lead
to a confirmed failure of Engine Outlet NOx Sensor.
Note : This TRP only applies to engines that are no longer covered by a Cummins Base, Extended, or Emissions

warranty program. If a Cummins coverage is available for the failed component, the claim should be filed to the
coverage that gives the most benefit to the Customer.

Action

In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:

1. must have NO existing coverage, and

2. must be within 10 years in service and 435,000 miles, and

3. must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action, and
4. must experience a Engine Outlet NOx Sensor failure.

Note : The ESN list is attached for reference.

After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:

1. As required, remove and replace the Engine Outlet NOx Sensor using service procedure 019-463 in the appropriate Cummins
Service Manual.

Note : If the unit is covered by a Cummins Base, Extended, or Emissions warranty program, file claims as is
appropriate and best benefits the customer. If Engine Outlet NOx Sensor is covered by a warranty program, the
unit is NOT eligible for this field action. File Admin ONLY claim to close the field action.

Note : Certified repair locations outside of California, who elect to perform this campaign on engines installed in
vehicles which are registered in the state of California, are authorized to do so if they have the two items noted
below in their inventory. Please note that the Label, Authorized Change and the Proof of Correction Form

must be ordered through standard parts processes. They are not available on QuickServe® Online.

2. If applicable, a Label Authorized Change, Cummins part number 5297400, must be filled out and affixed to the engine. Clearly
print or type EONOx SENSOR UPDATE in the center box. Fill in the Campaign Number, Distributor or Dealer Code, and Date
information. Peel off the backing material and install the label on the engine valve cover near the engine data plate. There is a
clear protective cover on this label; peel the backing off of this cover and push the clear cover over the printed material. This will
help protect the label during engine operation. Label cost and appropriate SRT time can be claimed per Campaign guidelines.

3. If applicable, an Emissions Campaign - Proof of Correction form, Bulletin #4310621, must be filled out and provided to the
Customer. Inform the Customer to retain this certificate as proof that the Emissions Campaign has been performed. This form
may be required as proof of an Emissions Campaign by the State of California, for vehicles registered in that state, the next time
the vehicle registration is renewed. Form cost and appropriate SRT time can be claimed per the Campaign guidelines.

4. File one claim for the applicable listed parts and required labor to complete the repair.

Material Disposition

Where applicable, items removed should be returned to ReCon for core credit. Unless otherwise indicated, items with no core liability
can be scrapped.

Note : All parts listed are OPTIONAL. Claim only the parts required to complete the repair. ReCon (RX) parts should
be used and claimed when performing all Cummins Field Actions. New or NX parts should only be used when making
before-inservice repairs. Additionally, due to local laws, RX/PX parts may not be available for use in the repair. If this
is the case for your region, use the New part equivalent of the appropriate ReCon part. Further, if RX/PX parts are not
readily available to complete the repair in a timely fashion, the new part equivalent can be secured and used for the
repair. The part numbers 4310621 and 5297400 are only required for use on engines installed in vehicles registered
in the state of California. They are OPTIONAL for all other applications.

Note : SRTs to gain access that are required to complete the repair, that are sufficiently explained in the claim
narrative, may also be claimed on this action.

Note : For California registered vehicles ONLY, SRT 17-901 for up to .1 hours can be claimed for completing the
Label - Authorized Change and the Emissions Campaign - Proof of Correction form.

may be claimed in Other Claimables. Please consolidate all consumables and claim them as one line item in Other
Claimables titled CAMPAIGN SUPPLIES or other appropriate selections. Please include brief summaries on the
details of items claimed. A lack of documentation in the narrative may result in a reduction in claim reimbursement or
claim denial.
