OFFSET FENDER INSPECTION
1. Proceed to the instructions below if the tire
appears off center compared to fender as
shown in figure 1.

OFFSET FENDER REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
1. Level the RV. Remove the 4 outer and 6 inner screws from
the fender. Save for re-use.
2. Use a box knife to cut away the sealant from the exterior
sidewall and decals.
3. Pull the fender from the exterior sidewall to expose the
marker light wiring.
4. Snip wiring to marker light just past the wiring connectors.
5. Clean the remaining sealant from the exterior sidewall.

6. Place the new fender into position, and center the marker
light to the center of the tire. (Figure 2)
7. If the fender will not center, notch the backside fender flange
to allow fender to shift into center position. (Figure 1)
8. Align the fender in the center position and mark any area of

exposed skirt for removal. (Figure 2)
9. Set the fender aside, remove the skirt edge guard, and cut

away the skirting you marked for removal. (Figure 4)
10. Reinstall the edge guard. (Figure 4)
11. Remove the marker light cover by gently prying from the

top and bottom with a flat head screwdriver. (Figure 3)
12. Unscrew the 2 screws on the marker light face, and remove
the marker light. (Figure 5)

13. Install the marker light into the new fender by reversing
the removal process.
14. Notch and bend the supplied trim piece so that one end is
long enough to cover the back edge of wheel well opening.
(Figure 7)
15. Lay a bead of sealant into the inside of the trim piece.
(Figure 6).
16. Install trim piece with screws. Some trimming may be

necessary. (Figure 7)
17. Trim and strip the marker light wiring on the RV and the
fender.
18. Connect the wiring from marker lights to the RV wiring using
closed-end wiring crimp connectors.
19. Center and level the new fender on the RV. (Figure 2)
20. Screw the new fender to the RV using the original screws.

21. In order to make sure the new fender covers the newly
exposed area, you may need to apply pressure to the fender
with a jack before installing the side screws. (Figure 8)
22. Caulk the exterior and interior edge of fender. Black caulk may be used in black areas
if needed. (Figure 10)
23. Apply “Not a Step” decal (#2022549) to the top of each new fender. (Figure 11)
