This Service Information Bulletin (Revision 2) replaces SI B11 04 17 dated April 2017.

G12 (7 Series Sedan)

With N63R engine

AFFECTED VEHICLES
This Service Action involves G12 vehicles with the N63R engine produced from June 23, 2015 to January
17, 2017.
Vehicles which require this Service Action to be completed will show it as “Open” when checked either in
AIR, the "Service Menu" of DCSnet (Dealer Communication System) or with the Key Reader.

SITUATION
The coolant lines routed to the exhaust turbochargers may develop an external coolant leak.

CAUSE
Hose material not robust enough for prolonged turbocharger temperatures.

CORRECTION
Replace the coolant lines for exhaust turbocharger.

PROCEDURE
Replace the coolant lines following Repair Instruction: REP 11 53 009 Remove and install/replace all
coolant lines for exhaust turbocharger.

according to the respective vehicle type. Invoiced these items separately under the repair Defect Code listed
in this bulletin.

approximately 1 liter (2 liters total) that is needed for this repair (50/50 mixture) at dealer net plus your
center’s handling.
