Certain Maserati Grecale (M182) MY23 listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid Update relating to the
potential loss of torque of two fastening points of the vehicle's electrical system. It has been found that the
wrong torque was applied in production resulting in potential electrical issues on the vehicle and hybrid
system malfunction or in some cases the 12V battery being completely discharged.
The verification procedure will require the inspection of two points in the vehicle, restoring the correct closing
torque. This action is the twin of action 597 and the checkpoints are like those already verified during that
campaign, which is why you will find references to the previous campaign in the bulletin. In any case, none
of the cars in the current fleet are also present in that of the previous campaign.

TECHNICAL SERVICE OPERATIONS
Overview
To complete this rework, it is necessary to check the 2 points below:
C. Positive 48V High Node on the Engine Compartment.
D. 48V battery to chassis Ground point on the trunk compartment.
IMPORTANT: In case the 12V battery shows a discharge condition, open a BOL support request to share the
diagnosis and receive technical auth for the replacement. The battery will have to be claimed within this
campaign.
Working Procedure – Preliminary Operation

Always check in ModisCS+ to see if the vehicle is involved in this action and if it has not been
previously performed.

Disconnect the 12V battery following the procedure reported in the workshop manual:

It is highly recommended to proceed with the verification of the torque / tightening without
unscrewing the nuts, to avoid damage to the thread.
Positive 48V High Node on the Engine Compartment.

Open the front lid and remove the cover (1)

Using torque wrench, tighten the indicated nut with a torque of 11 Nm.

Reassemble all removed parts following the removal procedure in reverse order.

The procedure is complete.

Using a torque wrench, tighten the indicated nut with a torque of 8 Nm.

Reassemble all removed parts following the removal procedure in reverse order.
