1. Proceed with the installation instruction if the larger bulb seal on
the outside slide-out as shown by the red arrow in figure 1 is not
present.

BULB SEAL AND SCHWINTEK MOTOR REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove top bulb seal and replace with larger bulb seal.
Remember to put a bead of sealant across the top along
the wall after replacing bulb seal. (Figures 2 and 3)
2. Change out slide-out Schwintek motor from the 300-1 to
the 500-1. (Figure 4)
a. Begin by entering the unit and retracting the
slideout. Remove the bulb seal as shown in Figure
5.
b. Locate the wire by pulling the rubber back and
unplug it from the motor. Pull the motor out by
tipping it out and then sliding down. Replace with
new motor once you have removed the old motor.
Reinstall rubber and bulb seal. (Figure 5 and 6)
