Whats New Abstract
T680 NextGen A-pillar fairing adhesive is not properly securing the fairing to the A-pillar. Procedures are
available to apply new adhesive to the A-Pillar fairing.
Condition
The A-pillar fairing pieces are loosening at the upper mounting tab location, resulting in one or more of the
following:
© Loose A-pillar fairing
© Knocking
¢ Dramatic vibration
© Wind noise on either side of the windshield
Chassis Affected
All T680 NextGen chassis manufactured from 2/15/2021 through 7/14/2022.
Action
Fix-As-Fail
If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, follow the procedures to
apply new adhesive to the A-pillar fairing.
Warranty
Through Base Warranty or any applicable active Extended Warranty, Kenworth
will pay for parts at dealer net
plus applicable mark-up and labor:
¢ 0.6 hours labor to apply adhesive to the A-pillar fairing (both sides). Use Quick Claim Code 02176.
e File an additional claim for extraordinary circumstances. A quick claim for standard labor must be filed
first.
e File the claim within 14 days in accordance with Warranty Policy CA009.
