DESCRIPTION:
NOTE: Your warranty claim might be rejected if the procedure in this TJ is not followed.
In most cases the TCAM does not need to be replaced and can be saved by following the fault tracing
in VIDA or in the below mentioned TJ’s.
As a last step, support can be provided by the Polestar
Technical Operations Specialists through
Nebula.
Due to this we are issuing a Prior Approval demand for Polestar TCAM replacements.
This TJ will be a supplement to the below mentioned TJ’s during a period of time (from the release date
until it is closed).
The instructions given in this TJ are mandatory as a last solution, if the service solution described in
the below TJ’s have no effect.

In most cases the TCAM does not need to be replaced and can be saved by following the fault tracing
in VIDA or in the above mentioned TJ’s.
As a last step, support can be provided by creating a Nebula Vehicle Report.
Contact your Technical Operations Specialist through Nebula to get technical prior approval or
assistance via remote session, using your normal escalation process.
If you experience an instance where you believe the TCAM needs to be replaced, and cannot be
resolved by the VIDA Fault Tracing and the above TJ’s, please complete the attached questionnaire
and submit with your Nebula case as well as provide any additional details that support the need for
replacement.
Warranty claim info:
A prior authorization number will be provided in the Vehicle Report case. A Nebula Warranty Claim
Authorization case will not be needed in this case.
To have warranty claim accepted, the vehicle report reference number must be submitted in the repair
order text and the Prior Authorization code submitted in the appropriate field.
This TJ can be claimed in conjunction with other labor ops. This labor time is ONLY for completing the
prior authorization questionnaire, NOT for any other repair.
