DESCRIPTION:

It is possible that the vehicle displays irregular and very low electrical distance (range) after software

upgrade, specifically after BECM (Battery Energy Control Module) software that was released 18w17.

This BECM software may, in combination with specific vehicles, cause the Electric Range displayed in

the DIM to be unreasonably low or to fluctuate.

Additionally, one or more of the stated DTC´s may be set in the vehicle.

To resolve the above description, please follow advice under service.

SERVICE:

*Improved BECM SW has been released.

*Perform an upgrade of the software according to TJ 31543.
