Issue Description

There is a possibility that the spreader device (actuator) for the electric parking brake does not meet the
required specifications on the affected vehicles.
If this is the case, cup springs can potentially break
in the spreader device over a longer service life, and
this can result in function restrictions when the electric
parking brake is actuated.
To prevent this from happening, the spreader device
(actuator) on the affected vehicles must be replaced
with a spreader device that meets the required specifications.

What Dealers Should do

Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as
soon as possible on affected vehicles. As of the time
of this posting (2/14/23), the repair is immediately
available.
Parts can be ordered via PPL as needed.
