This bulletin provides information to inspect and if necessary, replace the coolant reservoir cap on some
2023MY Seltos (SP2) vehicles produced from October 26, 2022 through November 11, 2022 which may have
the incorrect coolant reservoir cap installed. Some vehicles may have had a metal cap installed during
assembly. Follow the procedure outlined in this bulletin to confirm the vehicle is equipped with the correct
coolant reservoir cap and if needed, install the correct plastic coolant reservoir cap. Before conducting the
procedure, verify that the vehicle is included in the list of affected VINs below.

Inspection & Repair Procedure:
1.
Inspect the coolant reservoir cap and confirm it
is equipped with the correct plastic cap:
•
If the reservoir cap is the plastic type
show on the right (OK), then no further
action required. This action is complete.
•
If the reservoir cap is the metal type
shown on the right (NG), then replace
the coolant reservoir cap with the
plastic type shown below.
