The EXTEQ Maximus is a new complete battery diagnostic tool for all Maserati Americas dealers and will replace
the Pico Battery Tester as the warranty approved battery tester.
The Maximus provides many features and benefits over the Picoscope with the battery diagnostic and charge
processes including:
* Complete test results within 20 minutes (vs 4hrs using the Picoscope)
* Does not require the use of the MDEVO (vs using the Picoscope)
* Embedded thermal printer (for warranty claim entry, see details below)
* Capability to charge Flooded Lead Acid, AGM, GEL, Li-ION & EFB battery types
* Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless software updates and data transfers through a cloud-based system
* 7" Color Touch Screen with 29 supported languages
* 55A charge/maintainer capability with constant voltage for ECU reflash or PDI
* Diagnostic Smart Logic™ functions to service and troubleshoot SOC and State of Health (SOH)
* Bluetooth connected thermal IR scanner pistol with the ability to capture VIN
Distribution to dealers will begin January 2023.
