This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update
(RSU) 22-211, date of issue November 04, 2022. All applicable Un-Sold RSU VINs have been
loaded. To verify this RSU service action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a
VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library. All repairs are reimbursable with in the
provisions of warranty. This RSU will expire 18 months after the date of issue.
SUBJECT:
Door Trim Panel Bolster Delamination
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves inspecting and if necessary, replacing one or both door trim panel bolsters.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles with in the following markets/countries: North
America, Enlarged Europe and Middle East/Africa.
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after January 25, 2022 (MDH 0125XX) and
on or before May 19, 2022 (MDH 0519XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may describe the following:
• One or both of the right or left door trim panel upper insert material is loose, or separating from
the door trim panel backing.
DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the Inspection Procedure. This
RSU only applies to vehicles on the RSU VIN list.
1. Inspect both door panels for loose or separating material (Fig. 1) .
NOTE: Pressing on the door panel material with an object or hand (Fig. 1) , may be
necessary to verify loose or separating material.

2. Was any of the material on either door panel loose or separating (Fig. 1) ?
• YES>>> Proceed to Step 1 of the Repair Procedure.
• NO>>> This bulletin has been completed, use inspect LOP (23-20-22-9X) to close the active
RSU.
PARTS REQUIRED:
NOTE: Only replace the door panels that have loose or separating material. Do not
automatically replace both door panels if one door panel has loose or separating
material. Use the vehicle VIN in StarParts to ensure the correct parts.
