with Diagnostic Trouble Code IHFA P060C04 and/or IHFA P060C00 please follow the instructions

under “Service.”

NOTE: A warranty claim may be rejected if the procedure in this TJ is not followed.

In most cases, the IHFA does not need to be replaced and can be saved by following this TJ.

The IHFA DTCs P060C04 and/or P060C00 could be misdetected and cause reduced performance

and/or a message in the DIM stating “Propulsion System Performance.”

If the vehicle does not have a propulsion warning message in the DIM, do not replace any parts. Clear

the DTCs and release the vehicle to the customer.

If the vehicle has a propulsion warning message in the DIM, clear the DTCs, let the vehicle go to usage

mode “Abandoned,” and then perform a new VIDA readout of the vehicle.

If the DTC IHFA P060C04 and/or P060C00 do not return, do not replace any parts. Release the car to

the customer.

If the DTCs return, continue fault tracing according to VIDA.

A software fix is being developed to prevent misdetection of these DTCs.
