Summary
During service of the Hexagon® Agility® compressed natural gas (CNG) high-pressure / Manifilter element, the filter element base may sometimes not not fully thread into the filter element housing, preventing the filter element assembly from fully seating in the HP fuel filter / Manifilter. Techs instructed to inspect filter element base and filter element housing threads for damage and replace damaged components.

Affected Vehicles
Hexagon® Agility® compressed natural gas (CNG) systems equipped with a high-pressure fuel (HP) filter
assembly or Manifilter assembly.
Description
During service and maintenance of the HP fuel filter element (3) you may notice that the filter element base (1)
will not fully thread into the filter element housing (2), preventing the filter element assembly from fully seating in
the HP fuel filter / Manifilter.

Required Actions
When servicing the HP fuel filter element, inspect the threads of the filter element base (1) and filter element
housing (2) for damage. Damaged threads may prevent the filter element assembly from properly seating in the
filter / Manifilter housing
If threads are damaged on either or both components, the filter element housing (1) and base (2) must be
replaced.
