Purpose for Service Bulletin
This bulletin informs dealers that a change has been made to
the hardware installation procedure for screws securing the jiffy
stand on vehicles powered by the Revolution® Max engine.
See Figure 1 through Figure 4. When installing all jiffy stand
screws, use LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM STRENGTH
THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (BLUE) (99642-97) and
tighten to updated torque specification: 20–22 ft-lbs (27–30 N·m)

products to include the use of threadlocker and updated torque.
