SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Customers may experience a brake fluid leak coming from the front wheel opening area. This issue
is due to corrosion at the crimps on the brake caliper hoses (Fig. 1) .
If the customer describes the symptom/condition listed above, perform the Repair Procedure.

• The replacement brake caliper hose will have an updated design and routing on the
vehicle. Refer to (Fig. 2) and (Fig. 3) .
• One kit will service both brake calipers.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: To aid in removal of the wheel speed sensors, spray sensors with a Mopar rust
penetrant #04318039AB after the bolt has been removed and let soak for a few
minutes before removal.
1. Replace both front wheel speed sensors. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info>05 - Brakes/05 - Brakes, ABS/
Electrical/Sensor, Wheel Speed, Front/Removal/Installation.
2. Replace both front brake caliper hoses. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info>05 - Brakes/05 - Brakes, Base/
Hydraulic/Mechanical/Tubes and Hoses, Brake/Removal/Installation.
POLICY:
Vehicles included in this Service Bulletin have a 15 year/Unlimited Miles Warranty Extension for this
