This is a Technical Service Bulletin sent to dealers instruction them to replace the rear spoiler if a customer expresses concern of a crack in the spoiler that may be the result of vast temperature fluctuations that may cause shrinkage and expansion.

PURPOSE
A customer may find a crack on the Rear Spoiler, also known as Air Spoiler. Multiple factors
such as heavy pad compression on the spoiler bolt retainer during shipping and vast
temperature fluctuations causing shrinkage and expansion may be the cause.
This TSB instructs the dealers to replace the Air Spoiler, RR on a customer complaint basis.

1. Open the trunk lid and remove the bolts for the Air Spoiler.
2. Insert tool between the Air Spoiler and trunk lid, then gently pry to remove.

3. Any damaged or missing grommets must be replaced. If the grommets are undamaged,
replacement is not necessary. Please use a tool to gently pry the grommet when removing.
4. Thoroughly clean the trunk lid before attaching the new part.

5. Notice the new part (bottom piece) now has a strip added. Bolt the new Air Spoiler
part onto the trunk lid.
