WLD4 - Replacing Hose for Positive Crankcase Ventilation (Workshop Campaign)

Positive crankcase ventilation hose

Information:

A part-load valve was installed in the hose for crankcase ventilation on the affected vehicles
which has a sealing washer that does not meet the required specifications and could possibly
crack when the crankcase pressure rises.
Consequently, small amounts of engine oil can leak from the oil filler cover into the adjacent engine
compartment, resulting in a reduced engine oil level over time. The driver is alerted by an appropriate
warning message if the engine oil level is too low.

Remedial
Action:

Replace positive crankcase ventilation hose.

Ordering the WLD4 campaign tool “CTO.J01”
A special release tool is required to remove the crankcase ventilation hose. This release tool can be
ordered from the online shop of TKR Automotive GmbH.
One release tool is provided for each affected Porsche dealer. Only one release toolmay therefore be
ordered for each affected Porsche dealer.

The release tool consists of two individual pieces for the
following applications:
•

Item 1. Panamera (V6 Mono- and biturbo) →
CTOJ01_A

•

Item 1. Cayenne (V6 monoturbo) → CTOJ01_A

•

Item 2. Cayenne (V6 biturbo) → CTOJ01_B

Please read the following information about processing
the campaign:
•

If the release tool was ordered on account, the
invoice to TKR Automotive GmbH must be paid within
the 14-day payment period.

Release tool CTO.J01

•

The release tool must only be invoiced once for the first vehicle during warranty processing
in each Porsche dealer. Only the required materials and working time must be invoiced in the
campaign claim for the remaining vehicles on which work is carried out as part of this campaign in
the Porsche dealer.

•

For warranty processing, the Part No. WLD40000001 with the designation "release tool" can be
invoiced as an additional part in the warranty claim. Cost: €29.70.

•

The shipping costs must only be invoiced once for the first vehicle during warranty processing by
specifying Part No. WLD40000002 with the designation "Shipping costs" as an additional part
and using the amount as per invoice. For all other vehicles, only the materials and working time must
be invoiced in the warranty claim.

•

Document a copy of the invoice in the warranty claim.
