Lift Axle Control
The Bendix TABS-6 Advanced family of products also features
automatic lift axle control that will monitor the suspension load
of the trailer and automatically determine when the axle should
be lifted or lowered based on the trailer's cargo weight. This
eliminates the need for the driver to manually manage the lift
axle position. Lift axle control will help reduce your operating
costs by reducing brake and tire wear and improving fuel
economy when the axle is not in use. This feature will support
one or two lift axles and is configured with the Bendix ACom PRO
Diagnostic Software tool. For greater convenience, the system
can be set to automatically lower the axle when the trailer is
parked to prevent damage to the suspension during loading and
unloading.
Bendix® TABS-6™ Advanced roll stability system provides trailers
with core antilock braking, along with Trailer Roll Stability
Program (TRSP®), in one efficient package that’s simple to install
and simple to maintain.

Advanced Performance in a Flexible Package
The Bendix TABS-6 Advanced trailer roll stability system detects
conditions that may lead to a trailer rollover more rapidly than a
driver typically realizes an intervention is necessary. When that
occurs, the system automatically intervenes by applying the
trailer brakes to slow the vehicle and help mitigate a potential
rollover.
Bendix TRSP solutions are self-contained units which operate
with a variety of trailer electrical requirements – from 8 to 32
volts – without a separate power converter. The system can be
purchased on new trailers direct from the OEM or retrofitted onto
existing trailers.

Designed for Robust Performance, Flexibility, and
Easy Maintenance
Diagnostics are quick via PLC communication with Bendix®
ACom® PRO Diagnostic Software or our Bendix® Trailer Remote
Diagnostic Unit (TRDU). J1939 CAN-based diagnostics are also
available via ACom PRO on the Bendix® Trailer Information
Module (TIM™).

Simply safer
A trailer roll-stability system is designed to help drivers
maintain control of their vehicles in two ways. First, it
evaluates conditions that may lead to a rollover. Second,
it intervenes by applying the trailer brakes automatically,
allowing the driver to bring the vehicle under control more
effectively.

can mount directly to the air tank on a cross-member
or frame rail. Plus, our single-channel option can easily

With our multi-channel version, most of the key components
– two modulators, the lateral
acceleration sensor, and the
ECU – are efficiently housed in
an environmentally-protected
central modular unit, making
it more simple to install and

How Bendix® TABS-6™ Advanced Trailer Stability Systems respond:
A vehicle enters a curve too fast, on high friction pavement, resulting in high
lateral (side) forces acting at the vehicle's center of gravity (CG). Bendix®
TABS-6™ Advanced roll stability systems apply pressure to the trailer brakes to
reduce vehicle speed and help mitigate the tendency of the vehicle to roll over.
