Replace Vehicle Emissions Control Information Label

This is to notify you of the Service Campaign launch to replace the Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label on
approximately 14 MY21 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. All affected VINs will be flagged as “OPEN” in VMI.

Background

Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, has determined that the
Issue Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) Label may have an incorrect designation in certain vehicles.
A change to the designation of the exhaust control system is required for the affected vehicles.

MBUSA is conducting a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dealer will replace the
vehicle emissions control information label with a correct version.

Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, has determined that the
Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) Label may have an incorrect designation in certain vehicles.
A change to the designation of the exhaust contro! system is required for the affected vehicles.

MBUSA is conducting a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dealer will replace the
vehicle emissions control information label with a correct version.

Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

« Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously
repaired.

« Please review the entire Service Campaign bulletin and follow the repair procedure exactly as
described.

Approximately 14 vehicles are affected.
