Please forward this information to your RV Service Manager.

Winnebago Motorhomes is conducting a Field Service Campaign on certain 2022 EKKO models. It has been
determined that the pop top vent may be improperly sealed.
Affected Vehicles and Owner Notification
Attached to this letter is a list of subject vehicles which were shipped to your dealership. Customers with affected
vehicles are being sent a letter notifying them of the service campaign. Owners are directed to contact a Winnebago
Motorhome dealer for the service campaign to be performed at no cost to them. A copy of the owner notice is provided
for your information.
Repair Procedure:
Refer to instruction sheet.
Reimbursement
When the service has been completed, submit a warranty claim using the operation number and TIC code listed
below.

FINAL CLAIMS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY JANUARY 8, 2023.
Perform this procedure on all subject vehicles currently in your inventory. DO NOT DELIVER ANY SUBJECT UNITS
TO A CUSTOMER UNTIL THIS CORRECTIVE ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

Pop Top Vent Seal
Tools Required:
• Screw gun
• Isopropyl Alcohol
• Sealant, p/n 337765-01-02A *
• Self Leveling Sealant, p/n 342414-01-01A *
*These are Winnebago recommended sealants you should have in stock.

Procedure:
1. Remove screws (3) that are holding the vent cap on to the base and remove cap.

2. Remove screw holding clear cap and remove clear cap. Remove screws (6) around perimeter of vent base.

3. Lift vent base from pop top and inspect for either butyl tape over the screw holes or a gasket. If either of those
materials are found, they will need to be removed.

4. Once butyl tape or gasket have been removed, clean pop top roof with isopropyl alcohol where the vent will
attach to the pop top. Apply sealant (337765-01-02A) to underside of vent where screws will attach vent to pop
top.

5. Attach vent to pop top roof using original screws (6) from Step 2. Apply self-leveling sealant (342414-01-01A)
over each of the screws heads on the vent base.

6. Reinstall clear vent cover using original screw from Step 2.

7. Reinstall cap of vent and screw down with screws (3) from Step 1.

pop top vent may be improperly sealed.
Our records indicate that you have purchased a vehicle with the serial number which appears above.
What We Will Do
Your Winnebago dealer will remove the vent, properly seal and reinstall.
What You Should Do
Contact your Winnebago dealer to arrange for a service appointment. Please allow sufficient time for your dealer to
process your vehicle on the date of the appointment. The actual repair will take approximately 1 hour, however your
dealer may require additional time to process your coach.

Important
This campaign and offer to provide service is at NO COST TO YOU and is valid until January 8, 2023, at which time
the campaign will be closed.
