Re-mapping ECU and Cush Drive Update

Product:

F3 675 - F3 ORO

Following the procedure of continuous product improvement the decision has been made to update
the motorcycles with a new engine mapping and clutch cush drive shock absorbers to further
improve the function of the motorcycle during normal street use.
It will be necessary to update the following motorcycle with frame number:
•

MODEL F3 675 – F3 ORO MY 2012 up to VIN ..CV001164 included

•

TOOLS AND MATERIALS NECESSARY FOR THE UPDATE:

1. Re-mapping ECU:
TEXA Navigator IDC4 with software multibrand and cable 3151/AP34.
2. Clutch cush drive update:
- N° 6 Cush drive shock absorbers part number 8000B6484
- N° 1 Clutch cover gasket part number 8000B2615
These spare parts will be sent directly from MV Agusta, the costs will be reimbursed through normal
warranty proceedures; the shipping will be covered by MV Agusta.
You will not need to order these parts.

PROCEEDURE FOR IMPLIMENTING THE UPDATE:

Re-mapping the ECU:
- Update your TEXA Navigator IDC4 instrument by connecting to the internet with the software
IDC4, select “Search for Updates” and begin the download.
- Select “Bike” and then “Diagnosis” and the motorcycle model, F3 675 or F3 Oro.
- Press “ECU Update” followed by “Injection Reprogramming” and then the ECU ELDOR
- Connect to the motorcycle following the instructions of the program and then select “MAPPPING”
- Update the ECU software selecting the file “BOOT0211” using the password “BOOT#11yhb412”,
follow the instructions to complete the installation
- Install the new map in the ECU selecting the file “0406S045” with the password
“NEMO#01v81b12”, follow the instructions to complete the installation.
- After flashing, verify in "ECU INFO" the code of the installed map.

Clutch cush drive shock absorber update:
- Remove the clutch basket, it is not necessary to drain the oil for this operation.
- Place on your work bench and remove the 6 screws that retain the stamped plate
- Substitute the cush drive shock absorbers
with the new ones that can be identified by the
raised point visible in the following photo:

- Position the new cush drive units in the
clutch basket with the “UP” as seen in the
photo

- Reassemble the clutch basket with the 6 screws (place Loctite on the threads and tighten with 10
Nm of torque).
- Reassemble the motorcycle.
- Please refer to the Service Manual for any information not included in this document.
Test the motorcycle before consignment to the customer.
It is mandatory to update all new motorcycles with these technical improvements during the set-up
and before consignment to the customer.
Procedure for Warranty reimbursement:
Send a Warranty Request for reimbursement of the parts and labor including all the relevant
information regarding the motorcycle and parts with the following codes:
ƒ Warranty Type = GS
ƒ Special Warranty Code = 2771
ƒ Operation Code: E999
ƒ Labor: 0,8 ore
ƒ Defect Code: 099
Make note to the Circolare Tecnica N°95.
The reimbursement of the warranty request will be carried out via Invoice as is the normal
procedure.
