Brutale 800 Dragster MY 2015 from VIN V007794 and later

With the following Technical Communication, we inform you that a new mapping for the
Brutale 800 Dragster MY 2015 is now available.

We recommend to pay the maximum attention in choosing the correct map on the interested
motorcycle model, model year and version.
If you have any doubt on the choice of the correct mapping, we advise you to contact your MV
Agusta After Sales Area Manager.
The installation of a non authorized / non compliant mapping on the interested motorcycle, will be at
the exclusive responsibility of the Dealer.
MV AGUSTA MOTOR S.p.A. declines therefore all responsibilities for any consequence (Civil and/or
Penal and/or Administrative) that the Dealer or third persons might support due to the modification of
the motorbike ECU and/or a different utilization of the motorbike that is contrary to limits and
prohibitions provided from the local Law and Regulation concerning homologated power of
motorbikes that are destined to be used on public roads.

We ask you to provide for the control and eventual remapping during the set-up
and before consignment to the customer, during a service operation or at the first convenient
opportunity at your workshop.

TOOLS NECESSARY FOR THE UPDATE:
TEXA Navigator IDC4 with software multi brand and cable 3151/AP34.
 Re-mapping the ECU:
- Update your TEXA Navigator IDC4 instrument by connecting it to the internet with the software
IDC4, select “Software check” and begin the download of the version 23.0.0.
- Select “Bike – Diagnosis – Motorcycles - MV Agusta” and the motorcycle model,
Brutale 800 Dragster MY 2014 (from the next TEXA update will be available the menu for MY
2015)
- Press “ECU Update” followed by “Injection Reprogramming” and then the ECU ELDOR
- Select “self diagnosis”.
- Connect to the motorcycle following the instructions of the program and then select “MAPPINGS”.

- Install the new map in the ECU by selecting the file related to your market:


European market “0512D020” with the password “NEMO#77h6rh14”



73 KW French market “0512DA20” with the password “NEMO#78ckgl14”



USA/Canada market only “0512DB20” with the password “NEMO#79zwqy14”



Japan market “0512DC20” with the password “NEMO#80gd1814”



Brasilian market “0512DE20” with the password “NEMO#827cxn14”



Chinese market “0512DG20” with the password “NEMO#83weh014”

Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
- After flashing, verify in "ECU INFO" the code of the Calibration Version / installed map.
- Exit from current menu “ECU Update” and open menu “Self diagnosis”.
- Select “Petrol injection” and the ECU model.
- Select “Setting” and then “Reset self-adapting parameters” follow the instructions to complete the
operation.
- Start the engine and let idle until cooling fan turns on
- Test the motorcycle before consignment to the customer in order to verify the correct functioning.
