BLACK TANK FLUSH INSTALLATION INSPECTION
1. Begin by checking if the blank tank valve was installed backwards and will not allow water
to enter the tank. File under inspection only if the black tank valve is installed correctly.

BLACK TANK FLUSH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Follow the appropriate repairs below to install the blank tank flush correctly.

Interior
1. Remove top access panel under rear bath lav. (Figures 10 & 11)

2. Verify water line coming

from fresh tank inlet is
entering the bottom port
of the vacuum breaker
valve. If it is, then reinstall cover panel and
file for inspection only. If
it is going against the
flow arrow located on the
vacuum breaker, please
follow steps below.

3. Remove both hoses from the black tank flush check valve.
4. Cut swivel from both the blue pex line and white flex hose, leaving
approximately 2” of hose after cutting.
5. Install a 90 degree connector using 1 each of 0168837, and 1 each of 0160685
to the cut piece of the blue pex line.
6. Install a 90 degree connector using 1 each of 0168837, and 1 each of 0160685
to the cut piece of the white flex line.
7. Install the open end of the 90 degree connectors using 1 each of 0160685 to
the lines that were originally installed.
8. Connect blue pex line to the black tank flush (flow out).
9. Connect white flex hose to the black tank flush (flow in).
10. Install access panel.

Interior
1. Remove cover panel located in bath linen cabinet. (Figure 1)
2. Verify flex hose (white water line) is entering the bottom port of the black tank vacuum
breaker. If it is, then re-install cover panel. If it is going against the flow arrow located on
the black vacuum breaker, please follow steps below. (Figure 2)

3. Remove zip tie that is holding the black tank
flush vacuum breaker to the interior wall.
Exterior
1. Remove black tank flush water inlet from off
driver side wall. (Figure 3)
2. Unscrew water line from black tank flush water
inlet.
3. Push water line through sidewall.
4. Using 2 pieces of flex hose and connectors,
build a new water line to connect to the black
tank flush inlet. Pieces needed will be 23” of
0316311 (flex hose), 2” of 0316311 (flex hose),
2 each of 0194424 (swivel connector), 1 each of
0168837 (connector elbow), and 4 each of
0160685 (crimp ring)
5. Install new water line
onto black tank flush
water inlet. (Figures 4
and 5)
6. Reinstall black tank
flush water inlet to
sidewall, and cap seal.

Interior
1. Inside the bath linen cabinet, remove both
fittings connected to the black tank vacuum
breaker.
2. Install new hose connected to black tank
flush inlet to black tank vacuum breakeron
the bottom (flow in).
3. Cut blue line coming from the tank, leaving
the swivel connector and a 2” tail piece of
pex hose. (Figure 6)

4. Install a 90” connector using 1 each of
0168837, and 1 each 0160685 onto the open
end of the cut piece you just made.
5. Connect the other end of the 90* connector
using 1 each of 0160685 to the blue pex line coming out of the floor.
6. Attach hose to the black vacuum breaker (flow out).
7. Re-secure vacuum breaker to backer using a zip tie and screw.
8. Replace cover panel.

 4C – 32BH, 4G – 24RK, 4S – 42RL front check valve fix - Use Parts
Kit 22-060JTB


Pass through
1. Remove access panel in off door side cargo area. (Figure 7)
2. Verify flex hose (white water line) is entering the bottom port of the black tank
vacuum breaker. If it is, then re-install cover panel. If it is going against the flow
arrow located on the black tank vacuum breaker, please follow steps below. (Figure
8)

3. Disconnect both the blue pex line and flex hose that are connected to the black
tank vacuum breaker.

4. Cut both the blue and flex line hoses, leaving approximately 2” of hose left with the
swivel connector.
5. Install a 90* using 1 each of 0168837, and 1 each of 0160685. Connector to both
cut off pieces.
6. Connect the 90* connector from the cut pieces using 1 each of 0160685 to the lines
that were originally installed.
7. Connect the hose coming from the black tank flush water inlet to the bottom of the
black tank flush vacuum breaker (flow in).
8. Connect the blue pex line to the side of the black tank flush vacuum breaker (flow
out).
9. Reinstall access panel.



Interior
1. Remove top access panel under rear
bath lav. (Figure 9)
2. Verify flex hose (white water line) is
entering the bottom port of the black
tank flush vacuum breaker. If it is,
then re-install cover panel. If it is
going against the flow arrow located
on the black tank vacuum breaker,
please follow steps below. (Figure 10)
3. Remove both hoses from the black
tank flush vacuum breaker.
4. Cut swivel from both the blue pex line
and white flex hose, leaving
approximately 2” of hose after cutting.
5. Install a 90* connector using 1 each of
0168837, and 1 each of 0160685 to
the cut piece of the blue pex line.
6. Install a 90*connector using 1 each of
0168837, and 1 each of 0160685 to
the cut piece of the white flex line.
7. Install the open end of the 90*
connectors using 1 each of 0160685 to
the lines that were originally installed.
8. Connect blue pex line to the black tank vacuum breaker (flow out).
9. Connect white flex hose to the black tank vacuum breaker (flow in).
10. Install access panel.
