Mechanic’s Tips:
• Main, Clutch, Lube Pressure tables are currently under development.
• Two DTCs related to TIDB hardware release – P0610 and P0702. Refer to SIL 32-WT-17 for additional
information including troubleshooting trees for each DTC.
• Bolt installation torque values and torque sequence/process are unchanged.
• Some very early build units had Converter Regulator and Converter Relief springs that were not color coded.
Shortly afterward, these springs were changed to a white color code.
• Allison DOC® V2017.2.0 and later versions have fields in the Data Monitor window to display:
– Trans ID Detection Complete status (status of TID Autodetect process)
– Learned Trans ID status (locked TID level)
– Detected Trans ID status (current key-cycle TID level)

• Allison DOC® V2017.2.0 and later versions have an Action Request menu item “Reset Transmission
Identification Learning” used to force relearn of TID level. Details can be found in the Allison DOC® User
Guide.
• All accumulators are common, but the spring in the main valve body accumulator (main mod accumulator) is
unique and cannot be substituted with the accumulator springs in the solenoid valve body.
• Two hardened retention clips are used. One clip is common to the Solenoid Valve Body diagnostic bore and
Filter Life Body. The second clip is used throughout the Main Valve Body. Refer to Figure 8 for details.

Main Valve Body Torque Sequence (refer to Figure 11):
Subassembly bolts that secure the solenoid valve body to the main valve body, and retention bolts that secure the
solenoid and main valve body assemblies to the channel plate will use a specific bolt torque sequence to reduce
the risk of valve body twist and the possibility of stuck valves.
1. Hand-start all bolts, finger-tight
2. Torque bolts in sequence shown to 50% of final torque value.
3. Torque bolts in sequence shown to 100% of final torque value - 10-13 N·m (7-10 lb-ft).
