Dear Dealer / Service Center,
Through the ongoing, stringent quality control activities we perform on the components installed
on our vehicles and our continuous research to develop better new technical solutions, in
keeping with our commitment to ensure the best ownership experience possible for the
customer, it has come to our attention that a procedure to replace the fuel pump must be
performed on a specific batch of vehicles of the model in question.

Please determine which vehicles in your stock or sold/serviced by you require this update, and:


update all vehicles in stock before sale;



Update vehicles that have already been sold at the first available opportunity.

As usual, the list of chassis numbers involved belonging to your stock is viewable in the section
Campaigns / Campaign Reports of the PWM warranty management software suite.

OPERATING PROCEDURE:


From the main menu, select the option “campaigns”, then select the option “Enter
campaigns” from the sub-menu.



Enter the frame number subject to the technical update in the window opened.



Select “search” to open a window with the available coupon.
 Fuel pump replacement: service coupon which provides for the verification of the
date stamp and the possible replacement of the fuel pump (automatic order of the
necessary component, in the countries where required) and the reimbursement of
the material and labour employed.



Select the coupon, compile the “Km” field, and then save the procedure definitively.



After completing the replacement, the procedure relative to the coupon must be declared
completed in PWM to activate the reimbursement procedure.



The coupon that will not be declared "carried out" (by the PWM status management)
within 6 months from the day of entry will be automatically discarded by the system as
NOT CARRIED OUT and will NOT be refunded.

We inform you that it is essential to attach the photo of the fuel pump date stamp, as per the
example below:

FUEL PUMP DATE STAMP READING INSTRUCTIONS
The date stamp is positioned on the flange located in the upper part of the pump, where the
connector is connected, and is made up of 4 numbers, according to the following logic:
Day of the year (from 001 to 365)

Year (0= 2020; 1= 2021; 2= 2022… etc etc

NOTE: The numbers used in this example are by way of example only

The date stamps relating to the pumps to be replaced are comprised between the date
stamp on the flange (0741 included) and the date stamp on the flange (2141 included).
The pumps are to be considered compliant before and after these date stamps.
