NOTE: motorcycles with a VIN number higher than indicated have already been updated
in MV Agusta
This Service Bulletin cancels and replaces Service Bulletin n° 237.
We inform you with this Service Bulletin that new ECU calibrations for Turismo Veloce 800 ROSSO-BASE-
LUSSO-RC (SCS excluded).
The contents of the new maps introduce further refinements on the Cruise control / EAS / YAW
management strategy.
PLEASE NOTE:
In case of updating the bike produced without electronic assisted shifting, when assembling the EAS on
the network, the vehicle configuration must be reset using the "ABS & YRS & EAS adjustment"
command present in the IDC5 self-diagnosis in the "setting" section in order to detect the presence of
the same and allow correct operation.
It is recommended to pay the utmost attention in choosing the correct mapping for the model and version
of the motorcycle concerned.
For any doubt regarding the choice of the correct mapping, it is recommended to contact your MV Agusta
technical manager or the MV Agusta Technical Assistance dept.
The installation of a mapping different from that provided for the on the motorcycle concerned, will be the
exclusive responsibility of the dealer.
MV AGUSTA MOTOR S.p.A. therefore disclaims any responsibility for any consequence (civil and / or
criminal and / or administrative) that the dealer or third parties could sustain due to the modification of the
ECU (ECU mapping) and / or a different use of the motorcycle that is in contrast with the limits and
prohibitions provided for by local law and by the regulation relating to the approved power of motorcycles
that are intended for use on public roads.
It is mandatory to check and, if necessary, remap the control unit during the pre-delivery phase, during
a maintenance service or on the first useful occasion at your workshop.
Problems with motorcycles related to outdated mapping could compromise the approval of warranty
claims; therefore we ask you for special attention ALWAYS updating the motorcycles in transit at your
workshop.

NECESSARY TOOLS TO PERFORM THE INTERVENTION:
TEXA Navigator IDC5 diagnosis tool with multi brand software and 3151 / AP34 cable.
¢ ECU update procedure:
- Update your TEXA Navigator diagnosis tool by connecting the computer with IDC5 software to internet,
select "Software Update" and start the download to download version 33.2.0. \ MAP 3021 or later versions.
- Connect the TEXA diagnosis system by following the path:
"MOTO" - "MV AGUSTA" - TURISMO VELOCE 800 - vehicle engine - vehicle code.
- Select "ECU Update" then "Injection Reprogramming" and finally the ELDOR control unit
- Select "self diagnosis".
- Connect the motorcycle following the instructions of the program and select "MAPPING".
The installation of the new mapping requires the presence of the boot BTMV5D-0600 in the control unit:
check for the presence of the BTMV5D-0600; if the control unit is not equipped with the boot described
above, contact the MV Agusta technical assistance service.
Install the new ECU map by selecting the file for your market:
Turismo Veloce 800 ROSSO - BASE - LUSSO - RC:
e European version: “0913M012" to be activated with password “NEMO#F48d5w20”
e —Usa\Canada version: "0913MU12" to be activated with password “NEMO#D1nwad20”
¢ Japanese version: "0913MC12" to be activated with password “NEMO#F5zpck20”
then follow the instructions of the program to complete the installation.
- At the end of the procedure, check the code of the installed calibration / map version in the "INFO ECU"
menu.
- Exit the "ECU Update" environment and open the "Self-diagnosis" environment.
- Select "petrol injection" and control unit model
- Select "Settings" and then "Reset self-adaptive parameters" and follow the instructions of the program
- Start the engine and leave it to idle until the radiator cooling fan will be activated.
- Test the motorcycle on the road before delivering it to the customer to verify correct operation.
