GENERATOR DOOR INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Begin by inspecting the generator door which is located on the driver side behind the front wheel.
2. If the generator door looks like Figure 1, then it will need to be replaced with the door in Figure 2.

3. In order to determine the correct door size, Jayco
Parts Department will need to know the door opening
width of the current door installed as shown in Figure
3.

4. In order to determine the correct vent opening
location, Jayco Parts Department will need to know
the dimensions from the forward door opening to the
center of the generator air intake as shown in Figure 4.

GENERATOR DOOR REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the new generator door with 2 to 3 screws into
each side. Please test door to see if closes completely.

2. Continue with opening the generator door and holding
the air intake up to the generator as shown in Figure 5.
3. The correct location would have the gasket seal
touching the generator and surrounding the generator
intake. Verify the gasket seal touches the generator.
A. NOTE: The outer flange of the air intake can
adjust outwards if needed.
4. Drill (4) 3/16” mounting holes through interior metal of
the generator door. (Figure 4 marked with orange
arrow)
A. NOTE: Drill bit must not go through exterior
skin.

5. With rivet gun, secure the air intake to the back of the baggage
door at (4) locations (Figure 6 marked with green arrow).

6. Close door and verify that the rubber gasket touches the
generator and the door can still close (Fig. 7). Complete the
installation of the generator door by installating the handle and
graphic. Contact Jayco Customer Service Parts Department for the
graphic.
