Technical Service Bulletin
The following DTC may be stored in the data bus on board diagnostic interface, J533 (address code
0019) as active/static:
• DTC U012700 (Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module - no communication) with symptom code
131595.

Technical Background
According to ambient conditions, moisture can enter the control module via the pressure equalization
element; this leads to failure of the control module.

Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under
development.

Service
1.

Check the wiring and pins in the connector for damage and measure the voltage supply at the tire pressure m
control module, J502 (address code 0065).

2.

If no irregularities can be detected:
• Replace the tire pressure monitoring system control module,
J502 (address code 0065), and also fit with the new bracket,
part number 4E0 810 675 B (Figures 1 - 2).
