1. DO NOT REPLACE the transfer
assembly.
2. Replace the drive shaft oil seal and
the dust seal.

removing the transfer assembly
from the vehicle.
It is not necessary to remove the
transfer cover to replace the drive
shaft oil seal and the dust seal.
