PURPOSE
This TSB updates the Keyless Transmitter Switch section, in the Body section of the Technical
Information Manual and is part of the affected Service Manual.

DESCRIPTION OF STRUCTURE AND

TRANSMITTER

x The transmitter is integrated into the master key.
x When either switch is pressed, the transmitter
emits a radio signal representing a specific ID

code.
x There are two switches on the transmitter; the
lock switch and the unlock switch.
x An indicator light, which illuminates when signals
are transmitted, is added on the key grip. This
indicator light informs you of the signal transmission status and warns you of flat battery.
x A brilliant silver Three-diamond mark is installation on the back side of the key grip to improve
appearance.
x A signal transmission circuit (printed circuit) and
a battery are housed in one case. The case is
housed in the key grip, thus improving resistance
to water ingress.
x A coin type battery, CR1620 is used in the transmitter.
x The transmitter switch operation allows the system to operate as follows:

There are three switches on the transmitter; the lock
switch, unlock switch and the panic switch (Refer to
GROUP 54A - Panic alarm system ).
