PROBLEM

PARTS REQUIRED

Some RT vehicles present a gap between the LH
side panel and the driver's seat.

Please order part through regular channel.

SOLUTION
With the help of an adapter, enlarge the LH side
panel fixation hole, pull up the panel and adjust the
panel to reduce the gap.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
The enlargement of the LH side panel fixation hole
is needed so an adjustment can be done to reduce the gap between the LH side panel and the
driver's seat.
NOTE: Steps 1 through 4 are part of the SPYDER
RT PRE-DELIVERY BULLETIN 2022-3 procedure.
1. Remove the 2 locking ties then remove the
windshield and the 2 polyfoam protective
sheets.

3. Remove and discard the seat bracket from the
passenger's seat.

4. Cut the locking tie retaining the driver's seat
arm to its shock absorber.

2. Remove the 2 M8 screws and remove the passenger seat with bracket.

5. Disconnect the driver's seat connector then remove the seat.

6. Remove and keep the LH upper fairing and the
LH access covers.

NOTE: Do not reinstall these plastic rivets on re-

assembly on the lower frame rail (driver floorboard
area).

7. Remove and keep the 2 M6 X 20 screws and
the 2 washers.

10. Remove and keep the passenger footrest
ass'y: remove and keep the M8 X 55 screw
and the washer.

8. Remove and keep the M6 X 25 screw and the
washer then remove and discard the polyfoam
protective sheet from the LH passenger footboard.

11. Remove and keep the 2 plastic rivets.

9. Remove and discard the 2 plastic rivets if
present on the lower frame rail (driver floorboard area).

12. Install the adapter (P/N 705017687) on LH
central fairing and use it as a template to enlarge the lower part of the hole. You may use
a small rotary tool to enlarge the hole.

to specification.

14. Reinstall all the previously removed body panels. Installation is the reverse of the removal
procedure.
However pay attention to the following:
tighten the previously removed screws to
specification.

13. Apply a light upward pressure approximately
to the bottom center of the LH central fairing (right about the middle of the driver's
footboard) which allows the fairing to be
raised and adjust then secure using the

15. Continue with the normal SPYDER RT PREDELIVERY BULLETIN 2022-3 procedure.
